Check out this article in the Washington Post. Here's a summary: Head Coach Steve Sarkisian thought the team would benefit with a live Tiger at practice. You know, because Tigers are scary. The Seattle Times reported that Steve Sarkisian brought in the Tiger because "there can potentially be a lot of them when you get down there with the stadium, the crowd, the heat, the tiger outside the locker room. So we are just trying to minimize the distractions so we can focus on the task at hand.''
If Sarkisian thinks the reason teams lose at LSU is because of their fear of large cats then he's in for a real treat Saturday at "Deaf Valley". Tiger Stadium is revered as the loudest stadium in the nation. Sarkisian would have been better simulating crowd noise than the presence of a tiger on the field. Hell, they should have stacked the defensive line with 300 lb tigers and given Keith Price a slab of raw meat to throw around. That would better simulate the conditions Washington will face on Saturday.
